This 54-hectare freshwater marshland and nature reserve was formed by the damming of the Kranji River. Originally recognized for its conservation value in the 1990s, the area was officially designated as a park and opened to the public in 2016. It serves as a vital habitat within the Sungei Buloh Nature Park Network, supporting a diverse array of woodland and wetland wildlife.
The environment consists of one of the largest freshwater marshes in the region, with at least 170 recorded bird species, including endangered and migratory varieties. Designated areas are available for nature observation, featuring hideout shelters, blinds, and the Raptor Tower, which provides panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
