This Baroque sacral building dates back to the years 1685–1687, making it the oldest church in the area. The structure, which is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic, also incorporates elements of Renaissance Revival architecture.
Following an extensive reconstruction in 2006, the building transitioned into a multifunctional cultural space. It currently hosts various concerts and exhibitions while still retaining its original liturgical consecration.
