Lauberhorn

Standing at an elevation of 2,472 meters, this alpine peak is a prominent feature of the Bernese Alps. The summit provides expansive views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau massifs. The terrain is utilized for both winter sports and summer hiking.

The mountain is internationally recognized for hosting the annual Lauberhorn World Cup alpine ski races. These competitions feature one of the longest downhill courses in the world. The race is a significant event in the international skiing calendar.

Access to the area is available via the Wengernalpbahn railway. The mountain remains a destination for outdoor activities throughout the year, transitioning from a professional ski racing venue in the winter to a hiking area during the summer months.
