Built between 1893 and 1895, this National Cultural Monument was designed by the architectural studio of Ferdinand Fellner and Hermann Helmer. Originally constructed as a premier spa facility equipped with the most modern technology of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the building is renowned for its Neo-Renaissance architectural style. The structure remains the largest and most architecturally significant spa house in the area.
Following an extensive reconstruction completed in 2023, the building now operates as a museum of spa culture and a cultural center. The interior houses the Atrium concert hall, a modern multifunctional space integrated into the historic fabric. Guided tours of the beautifully restored historic interiors are available, showcasing the building's original purpose and its evolution.
Exhibitions focus on the history of spa traditions and the notable figures who have frequented the region. The cultural program includes regular concerts and artistic events. The site is open to the public, offering insight into the sophisticated spa environment of the late 19th century.
