This National Monument is a waterfall on the Kaombe River that descends in multiple stages over the Muchinga escarpment. The water drops approximately 80 meters into a natural deep pool at the base. The site is known for its scenic views overlooking the Luangwa Valley.

The falls are a destination within the Northern Circuit of heritage sites and are situated in a mountainous landscape. The site is situated approximately one hour's drive from Kasanka National Park.
