Designed by WET Enterprises, this 275-meter long choreographed fountain system is the largest of its kind. The installation utilizes 6,600 lights and up to 50 colored projectors to illuminate water jets that reach heights of 152.4 meters. High-pressure transmitters are used to create various patterns and shapes across the 12-hectare Burj Khalifa Lake.
Performances feature water displays synchronized with a diverse selection of Arabic and international music. These choreographed shows take place daily, utilizing the expansive waterfront promenade for viewing. The fountain is a central feature of the downtown area's artificial lake system.
The fountain system is open to the public. Traditional abra boat rides are available on the lake, offering a close-up perspective of the water displays and views of the surrounding architectural landmarks.
