Discovered in 1966 by a local resident, Ahmet Asllani, during construction work on his property, this karst cave formed during the tertiary period. The geological structure consists of a complex network of channels and corridors embedded within marble limestone.
The cave system reaches an explored length of approximately 1,500 meters, with a 500-meter section open to the public. The interior is known for its rare aragonite crystals, diverse stalactites, and stalagmites. A small underground lake, known as the Glückssee, is located within the system.
Designated as a national monument, the site is managed by the government. The cave represents a unique example of marble formations and remains partially unexplored beyond the mapped corridors.
