The museum and observatory are situated on the 11th floor of a historic skyscraper designed by architect Raglan Squire in 1959. Formerly the tallest building in the country, the site provides 360-degree panoramic views of the urban landscape. It functions as both a cultural institution and an observation point, offering an unhindered perspective from its elevated position.
The collection was created in cooperation with the Leventis Museum of Nicosia and the Woolworth Group. It features historical exhibits including archival photography, detailed descriptions, and multimedia presentations. Telescopes and other optical instruments are available to examine the city's chronological development. The facility is open to the public.
