Built in 1909, this 14-meter-tall cylindrical white tower features a red lantern roof. It stands on an 80-meter-high cliff, resulting in a focal plane 94 meters above sea level. The structure serves as an automated navigational aid for commercial liners and fishermen. During foggy conditions, a foghorn sounds at 60-second intervals.

The site is situated on a southern peninsula and is known for its panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Former staff houses located near the lighthouse are occasionally available for rent.
