Petit Piton is a volcanic plug and UNESCO World Heritage Site that reaches an elevation of 743 meters. It is characterized by its steep, conical shape and dense tropical moist forest. The peak forms part of a diverse volcanic and marine ecosystem and is the third-highest relief on the island.
