This state-founded institution was established in 2003 to preserve the truth regarding the 1995 genocide. It serves as a memorial and cemetery for thousands of identified victims. The site features a memorial wall and various installations documenting the history and consequences of the massacre.
The complex is situated in a former Dutch UNPROFOR battery factory, which now houses an exhibition center. Within the Spomen Soba (Memorial Room), artifacts and testimonials are displayed to provide insight into the historical events. Documentary screenings, educational history lessons, and historical research programs are also conducted on-site.
The memorial center is open to the public for remembrance and research.
