Baptistry of St. John

A fairly old Gothic baptistry built in the 14th century boasts a beautiful facade and wonderful interior. The focal point of this baptistry is its splendid baptismal font, decorated by six bronze panels which depict St. John the Baptist's life stories. You should also notice the exceptional frescoes created by Vecchietta, a famous Sienese painter.
