Bergues is a commune in the Nord department in northern France.
It is situated 9 kilometres to the south of Dunkirk and 15 kilometres from the Belgian border. Locally it is referred to as "the other Bruges in Flanders". Bergues is a setting for the 2008 movie Welcome to the Sticks.
