Braniewo, is a town in northern Poland, in Warmia, in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, with a population of 18,068. It is the capital of Braniewo County.
Braniewo is the second biggest city of Warmia after Olsztyn and one of the historical centers of the region.
