Established in 2002 and officially opened on Vesak Day in 2007, this complex features architecture inspired by the Tang Dynasty (a Chinese imperial dynasty) and the Buddhist Mandala. The four-story building serves as a significant Buddhist temple and cultural center.
The internal layout includes a museum on the third floor and a tea house on the second floor. A golden stupa on the fourth floor houses a sacred relic of Sakyamuni Buddha (the founder of Buddhism), which is displayed for veneration.
Additional facilities include a theatre and a vegetarian dining hall. Free vegetarian meals are served in the basement. The complex is considered a major tourist attraction.
