Buntu Londa

Londa refers to the cave tombs located in the Kesu' sub-district of Toraja Utara. Outside the cave are rows of life-sized Tau Tau (wooden sculptures) that are elaborately dressed, with some even wearing glasses.

In addition to the Tau Tau, there are suspended coffins and skulls dotted across the cliff face. Within the caves are more skulls and bones scattered along the edges of the caves as well as disintegrating coffins. One particularly popular story told by stories are the Romeo and Juliet skulls found in the heart of the cave.
