Bystřice is a municipality and village in Frýdek-Místek District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 5,400 inhabitants and it is the second most populated municipality in the Czech Republic without the town status. Polish minority makes up 29.7% of the population.
