The resort has a great beach that is made up of soft white sand that shelves gradually into the sea.
Cala Mayor is now a fairly relaxed, laid back resort with a chilled out feel and most of the nightlife goes on inside the hotels. It is more of a place where you can experience good food than a lively night out and it most definitely favors a more family friendly scene.
