Cathedral of the Holy Trinity

The majestic 18th-century cathedral is one of Dresden's most prominent sights. Its imposing exterior is matched by the beautifully decorated interior. The church also boasts the largest organ made by the famous Gottfried Silbermann. At night the cathedral is beautifully lit up.

It is also a burial place of many members of the House of Wettin - rulers of Saxony depicted on the famous mural (which is located nearby) titled Procession of Princes. Besides being a tourist place, the cathedral is still an active church so respectful behaviour and clothing are expected.
