Operating since 1942, the largest market in Thailand boasts over 15,000 stalls divided into 27 sections. It's a popular market for both tourists and locals, so prepare for the crowds.
Here you can get unique items and souvenirs such as amulets, books, decorations or clothes. Look for secular arts and crafts like musical instruments or old Thai toys. Household appliances can be bought here as well as antiques, furniture or ceramics. There are also sections devoted to fresh and dry food and dessert shops.
The market is open on Saturday and Sunday and also on Friday for wholesale business. Plant section is open on Wednesday and Thursday.
Each day there's a different type of products being sold. Please check the official website for more information.
