Chinatown is one of the oldest districts in Bangkok, famous for its signature food, as well as a uniquely bustling atmosphere. Come after the sun sets if you want to really enjoy the vibrant street-side cuisine and the energy of this place.
While strolling around, you'll find many restaurants, stalls or even just carts, offering delicious Chinese food here. You can get yourself anything from a fried shrimp or a shark fin to a bug.
Since there is no public transport stop in the vicinity of the district, it may be easiest to travel here by a tuk-tuk or a taxi. Alternatively, you could come by boat, exiting at the Rachawong Pier. The Chinatown is about 10 minutes by foot from there.
