This splendid 15th-century architectural gem with a marvellous white facade is a lovely example of different architectonic styles blending together. While the majority of it was built in late Gothic style, there are also several baroque features to be found. When the weather is nice, the white facade almost makes it shine.
The church was partially built by a crossbow guild and for a time it was also a popular burial place for important inhabitants of Brussels.
Admire its richly decorated interior and the two chapels, which are great examples of high baroque sculpture. The entrance to the church is free so it is a good choice for those travelling on a budget.
Admission to the church is free.
