Church of St. Daniel

Local nameChiesa di San Daniele
LocationPadua, Italy

The church was built in this spot because it is said that when relics of St. Daniel were passing by from one cathedral to another, they suddenly became heavy and would not move until the bishop made a vow to build a church dedicated to this martyr. After he did so, the relics became light again and could be transported to their place.
