Cittanova is a comune in the Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria in the Italian region Calabria, located about 80 kilometres southwest of Catanzaro and about 45 kilometres northeast of Reggio Calabria.
Located on the slopes of Aspromonte and facing the Gioia Tauro plain, it is characterized by the presence of numerous churches and a public park which extends for 2.65 hectares.
