College Park is a city in Prince George's County, Maryland, United States, and is approximately four miles from the northeast border of Washington, D.C. The population was 34,740 at the 2020 United States census. College Park is best known as the home of the University of Maryland, College Park.
Since 1994, the city has also been home to the National Archives at College Park, a facility of the U.S. National Archives, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Center for Weather and Climate Prediction, and the Food and Drug Administration's Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition.
