Decimoputzu is a comune of about 4,000 inhabitants in the Province of South Sardinia in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 20 kilometres northwest of Cagliari.
Decimoputzu borders the following municipalities: Decimomannu, Siliqua, Vallermosa, Villasor, Villaspeciosa.
