A part of Walt Disney World Resort, the most visited place on earth with over 52 million visitors annually. This complex used to be called Downtown Disney, but the name was changed in 2015 as a result of a huge renovation and expansion.
The possibilities of entertainment are endless. Disney Springs offers something for everyone, from concerts, live shows, stage shows, Cirque du Soleil exhibitions, numerous types of cuisine and a diverse pool of shops. Some of the shops are rather peculiar, like the Left-Hand Store or the Coca-Cola Store.
The resort is, in fact, a "town" with its own history and fictional events. It's divided into four parts - the Marketplace built in American Craftsman style, The Landing with its nautical theme, containing The Empress Lilly, which is a boat-looking building, Town Center which is a fictional business centre set in 1920's and the West Side, which is the town's exposition centre.
You can get here by car, by boat or take a bus from the 4 Disney theme parks as a complimentary way of transportation. There's no entrance fee.
The opening hours depend on the season and day, please, check the official website for detailed information.
