The recently rebuilt mosque features the tallest minaret in all of Dubai, which slightly resembles a lighthouse. It was originally built as an Islamic school but it was later transformed into a mosque. It is located near the creek and can accommodate more than 1200 worshippers.
Non-Muslims are allowed to enter only the minaret, from which photos of the beautiful aerial views can be taken. Even if not going in, the mosque is definitely worth the visit for its architecture.
The nearest metro station from which you can walk to the mosque is Al Fahidi station (green line). It takes approximately 10 minutes to get to the Grand Mosque.
Non-Muslims are not allowed to enter the mosque. Only the minaret.
