Nicknamed Durian thanks to its shape, this huge complex is one of the most visited art venues in the world - it has seen to the needs of more than 70 million guests so far. Over 3000 performances yearly guarantee that everyone will find something they will be interested in, whether it is for a date night, a family trip, a friendly get-together or a solo search for the fulfilment of one's art need.
Shortly after its official opening in 2002, this center established annual festivals dedicated to Indian, Malaysian and Chinese culture. More festivals came later, and today this venue offers countless recurring or one-of-a-kind events specifically for dancers, singers, genres of music or cultures.
The philosophy of this place is that people should be able to enjoy art for free from time to time, which is why they organize free concerts and various exhibitions frequently.
This complex consists of a concert hall, a theatre, various rehearsal studios, a recital studio, an outdoor theatre, a library, Visual Arts Space, and much more, including a roof terrace, where visitors are encouraged to play music or show their talents to others.
