Fremont Troll

Local nameFremont Troll
LocationSeattle, United States

Situated under a bridge, this sculpture was installed in order to rehabilitate the area where drug sellers used to operate. The whole idea of a troll comes from Norwegian culture, where trolls as well as dwarfs have a long tradition.

The troll has become a popular figure in Fremont district – there is even an event called Troll-a-ween taking place here each year.
