This city district is named after the Gärtnerplatz square, that lies at its very heart. It is well known for a vibrant LGBTQ+ community, that has been growing here since 2012, concentrated around the pubs and gay bars along Müllerstraße.
For the more religiously-inclined tourists, there is also a Christian church and a Jewish synagogue.
