Formerly known as Cittadella Nuova, this fortress is one of the most obvious reminders of the powerful past of the city. Being one of few green spaces in Pisa, the surrounding park is a perfect hideaway from the city's buzz. Rest here for a while and enjoy the historical atmosphere of this place.
