Yet another picturesque street that you simply must visit while in Nuremberg. This one used to be the heart of the craftsman's district ever since the 11th century. Some of the charmingly painted houses in the district have survived since then - the Handwerkerhäuschen also boasts the oldest house in Nuremberg made in 1383.
