Come and enjoy a ride on this funicular railway which is one of the longest in Germany.

The funicular hoists visitors to the summit of the Königstuhl in 17 minutes. On the way, it stops first at the ruined Heidelberg Schloss and then Molkenkur then continues to the summit. A modern funicular usually leaves every 10 minutes, and a historical train comes every 20 minutes.
