Himi is a city in western Toyama Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 March 2018, the city had an estimated population of 48,275 in 17632 households, and a population density of 210 persons per km². Its total area is 230.56 square kilometres. Himi is known primarily for its commercial fishing industry. The city was founded on August 1, 1952.
