Ho Thuy Tien Abandoned Waterpark

An abandoned waterpark that sits not far from Hue, is one of the eeriest sights you could visit in Vietnam. The park opened in 2004 and closed two years later, despite the amount of money that went into its construction.

Once it held marine shows, sharks and even crocodiles - which were left there for a while till the tourists reported their unfavorable living conditions and they were transported elsewhere. An empty stadium and waterslides are slowly decaying and succumbing to nature's forces.

Beware, as of February 2018, the park was declared unsafe and only visitable at your own risk. There might be a guard in the area, but as some people report, the entry might be negotiable.
