Jaffa is not only the oldest part of Tel Aviv-Yafo, but also one of the oldest ports in the world. Its history being intermingled with biblical stories, it was probably named after Noah's son Japheth, who is also said to be the founder of this city. Sights not to be missed in this area include St. Peter's Church and Jaffa Clock Tower.
