Jemielnica is a village in Strzelce County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It is the seat of the gmina called Gmina Jemielnica. It lies approximately 9 kilometres north-east of Strzelce Opolskie and 35 km south-east of the regional capital Opole.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany.
The village has a population of 3,500. The village, as part of Gmina Jemielnica has been officially bilingual in Polish and German since 2006.
