KLIA is located about 50 km from Kuala Lumpur in the Sepang district of Selangor. It's Malaysia's main aviation hub and, therefore, the largest and busiest airport in Malaysia.
It consists of two terminals, KLIA and klia2, both of which have Satellite Buildings and numerous levels. There's also a gateway@klia2 mall connected to klia2, which houses many services, such as bus terminals and hotels. In both terminals, there's a wide variety of lounges, restaurants, numerous prayer rooms and other facilities to make the layover as comfortable as possible.
The airport's concept 'Airport in the Forest, Forest in the Airport' means that it is surrounded by green space and a part of the rainforest was transplanted into the Satellite Building area where you can take a walk and relax from the rush of the airport.
