The busiest railway station and London Underground station complex. It is the central London terminus on the National Rail network, South West Trains, the West of England Main Line and the Portsmouth Direct Line.
Originally opened in 1848, the station was redesigned in 1922 and the Victory Arch commemorating WWI was added. It has 24 platforms and it is the largest station in the UK by floor space.
