Dating back to the 1920s, it is probably the oldest park in Bangkok. It is named after the birthplace of the Lord Buddha in Nepal.
Stroll around the large artificial lake or just relax in the shade of trees, read a book or have a picnic. The park offers a huge public space for various outdoor recreational activities - people come here to go jogging, cycling, do Thai-chi, yoga or aerobics.
Please note that the park is also home to many animals, such as stray dogs and cats, birds, but also large lizards which hide in the ponds.
Smoking is forbidden in the park.
