This bridge, named after the famous Czech painter Josef Mánes, was completed in 1914 and it is an example of Prague's modernism. The bridge is adorned with several figural friezes depicting stories of Vltava swimmers. Don't be surprised if you spot a brass star when crossing this bridge, they serve as a tribute to Czech composers.
