Medina of Marrakesh

This cramped and lively ancient town centre is where you get the real taste of Moroccan culture and the way of living. No wonder that it was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Thanks to a number of buildings built out of red clay, this district is called the red city. The famous Jamaa el-Fna market is also located here.
