Montemagno is a comune in the Province of Asti in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 50 kilometres east of Turin and about 13 kilometres northeast of Asti. As of 31 December 2010 it had a population of 1,228 and an area of 15.9 square kilometres.The municipality of Montemagno contains the frazioni Santo Stefano and San Carlo.
Montemagno borders the following municipalities: Altavilla Monferrato, Casorzo, Castagnole Monferrato, Grana, Refrancore, and Viarigi.
