This neogothic church, consecrated in 1921, may not be the oldest or the most breath-taking in Rome, however, it is certainly worth a visit.
Within its sacristy hides one of the most bizarre museums in the world: The Museum of the Souls in Purgatory.
Inside, you can find exhibitions of various articles and artworks that are supposed to prove the existence of a Christian purgatory. The items on display include Bibles as well as pieces of cloth with handprints on them. An absolute must-see for any Catholic or fan of horror.
The museum is open whenever the church is.
Free admission.
