The oldest road in Kowloon, also called the "Golden Mile". Although the road is around 3.6 kilometers long, it will take you hours to cross it due to the huge number of shops and stalls all catching your attention.
Nathan Road is going to engrave its image in your head as a wide street with neon lights and signs all over the place. Whether you want electronics, shoes, appliances, clothes or anything that can be bought in shopping malls or from the street vendors, they have it. Many stores remain open until midnight, so if you are a night shopper, feel free to come here.
Aside from window shopping, the road offers dining opportunities too. You can find restaurants focused on any kind of cuisine you can imagine, all the way from the cheapest chain restaurants to 5-star or Michelin star ones.
This is not a place for a peaceful stroll, as it's always crammed with people. There are people trying to sell you fake watches and other accessories every few meters, but they don't get too pushy. There are plenty of bus stops along the road, but if you happen to have a layover in Hong Kong and want to visit this place, you can take a bus A21 from the HK International Airport.
