Nishapur County or officially Romanized as Neyshabur County is a county in Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. The capital city of this county is the city of Nishapur which is the second largest city in the province and the third largest city in Eastern Iran. According to a census conducted in 2011 by the government of Iran, its population was 433,104 which included 118,214 households.The county of Nishapur comprises the following three districts: the Central District, the Sarvelayat District, and the Miyan Jolgeh District. The cities of Nishapur, Chekneh, and Bar are within the boundaries of these districts.
The two counties of Firuzeh and Zeberkhan were previously a part of this county though now they have become independent counties.
