Okhaldhunga is the headquarters of Okhaldhunga District, in the Sagarmatha Zone of Nepal. It falls in Siddhicharan Municipality. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 3761 living in 790 individual households. It is located at 27°19'0N 86°30'0E and has an altitude of 1561 m.The district gets its name from Okhal, meaning a grinding stone.
