Ovada is a comune of 11,484 inhabitants in the Province of Alessandria in the northern Italian region Piedmont, located about 90 kilometres southeast of Turin and about 30 kilometres south of Alessandria.
Ovada is the main comune of the Ovadese area, an area of the Lower Piedmont and Upper Montferrat, located in the southern portion of the province of Alessandria.
