Palace Gardens

Local nameJardines del Palacio
LocationCasco Antiguo, Seville, Spain

Dating back to the Middle Ages, these gardens were originally small and full of large orchards. They were remodeled in the 16th century in Renaissance style and largely extended over the years - now they are a great example of how Christian world blended into the Muslim world.

The main part of the complex is called Mercury Pond, which is set higher than the rest of the gardens. You will be absolutely enchanted by the calm ambiance of the vast and splendid park.
